My Day

Today is my 15th Birthday. The first bday wish I received was at 12am which was from Liyin. No one will be so free to wake up at 12 just to send a bday msg, that's why that really meant much to me... Maybe that was part of the reason i was late for school (joking). Speaking about late for school, I think I kinda spoil some plans for the class because they kinda wanted to 'surprise' me before assembly. I actually felt something was fishy when berlin called me early in the morning asking what time I will reach school. I asked her why, but she nvr said anything. When I reached school, I thought the plan might have failed so I didn't expect anything else. After assembly, when we went back to class, I saw Belinda chasing everybody back in class. The whole class wish me happy birthday, except Jurgen, and sang a Bday song. Ya, was kinda touched that my class actually anticipated that it was my day. bday wishes through msgs and cards. Actually only got 2 cards from Belinda and Shiyuan. Didn't really expect them to give me though. But I really appreciate the effort and 'good' drawing. Jolene and Yingjie shared to buy a gift for me. Only girls, Where are the boys... Forgot?? Kenneth didn't even know it was my bday only like after recess...lol! Went straight home after school to eat handmade noodles and an egg cooked by my mom. Thanks YALL!!

Today I was damn late for school, when I reached the side gate it was already 7.22pm. The gate was close but I didn't bother to run to the front because my ankle is still not fully recovered yet... Got 'summon'. Class was okay, long hours!! At the end of school, I rushed to the bus stop to catch bus to CCAB to watch our school B div bball play. Unfortunately, when i reached there, they already finish their match. Won 41-10?? Ya, goodnews. Then Jillene and Qk (from my church caregroup) called me and told me that there was this 'very' important meeting. Met up at Lengkee CC with the other caregroupers. Found out that we were actually suppose to surprise Hazel for her Birthday (which falls on the same day as mine). We surprised her and she was shocked. I didn't know this would happen but when we were suppose to sing bday song. They all pulled me out and sang song for both of us... I thot from the start that we were dong this only for hazel and that they forgotten my bday. Got a homemade bday cake or mudpie... When to tuition after that and ate KFC for my bday dinner...

REFLECTIONS...
I know its kinda early to do reflections but I just wanna reflect on the first few weeks of school and about my bday wish.
When I look at this picture and quote, I still believe I can make it.

I realise that every single human being has ever failed, even LeBron, the greatest athlete in the world. BUT everytime when we feel like we are going down, there is some part of us that tells us that we can soar to greater heights...

When LeBron loses a game, he doesn't just sit down and do nth. He improves on his game and wants to do better. That is the attitude I wanna have.
Maybe there was a reason I wasn't chosen into this yr's school team. Maybe God wanted me to spend more time speaking to him and growing closer to him. This also gives me a chance to spend more time working out in the gym and to sharpen my bball skills. If I want to do well next year, I have to start now, not being lazy, being disciplined. Sacrificing my holidays to practice but at the same time spending time with God and not neglecting my studies. I'm determine to be No.1 next year. That everyone remembers the name...
